Van der Vennet is the wholesaler in decoration materials. Not a young starter anymoren but indeed a company that re-invetns its products again and again. Seasonal articles, in & outdoor furniture, glasswork, potterie, wrappings and ribbons, silk floawers, artificial plants, ...Its innumerable, its inimitable. Unless you are engaged for 200 %. At Van der Vennet's you'll find a selection out of range of 500 suppliers, each counting for 10.000 to 15.000 articles. Decorators, florists and people from the catering business are choosing the right atmosphere for their business. They are coming from Roeselare-Bruges-Kortrijk, but also from France. Sometimes they drive for more than 2000 km go and return... They are returning with containers filled with decoration stuff, back to Paris, Bordeaux or Marseille.

Renewal

Each year, each season, and every day new decoration materials appear on the market. The international trends are changing very fast. Van der Vennet answers constantly with new and fresh ideas, concepts and products. Take Christmas for instance. Here you think you are in an ice palace, white, silver, snow, and crystal. A bit further you are stepping into the Scandinavian rural land, with elks, pale greys and mauve... Nature is all around you in the "botanical style" with small owls, branches, wood and pale green. And at the end you find glamour - with red-black-gold. And the "Snow fall" lighting lets twinkle the eyes of every one!

Bruges, Kuurne, Brussels

Sint-Andries was untill now the headquarters of Van der Vennet cash & carry. Since four years the growth of the compagny was x3. Brussels joined and on the first of October 2008, the branch of Kuurne opened its doors.The purrpose is to make the main branch in Kuurne. This is possible with 12.000 m2, 10 platforms, 5000 m2 parking space and a cafetaria. Van der Vennet Bruges, Brussels and Kuurne has now a surface of 22.000m2 in total. That's a lot, but not too much to store 30.000 products, and to introduce every day around 200 new articles! Van der Vennet welcomes 1000 to 1500 customers a day, that makes a total of 26.000 clients and increasing with 20 to 30%.

The founder

Chris started the company in 1982.  Daughter Gileen joined them since the first of October. Brussels is in the skilled hands of Koen. Van der Vennet is counting on an enthousiastic group of 30 employees. Thanks to the growth of the business is reinforcement necessary.
